Fact is, it's a fast, manipulative way to gain popularity that can affect real life feelings, money, etc. People can even use a program like botting that adds +1 repeatedly to the DL total. These practices are hacking & cheating which is against EA's TOS. It's also a very shady, harmful act that has been going on for years in the gallery.
