Takumi's father Akira was from Mt. Komorebi. He met Takumi's mother Leila on a business trip to Sulani. The beautiful mermaid immediately enchanted him. After Takumi was born, he returned to his roots and left his wife and son. Takumi was amazed when he found out that he had inherited his mother's powers.
