Melanie was a school teacher for 30 years until the death of her late husband. Her only son died without having any children, leaving her all alone. Since then she hasn't been the same. She used to be uptight and proper, not a hair out of place. Nowadays she doesn't care, making rash decisons, such as the one to cut her long hair short.
