The Drentsche Patrijshond is dutch spaniel-type hunting dog from the Dutch province of Drenthe. They are also called the Dutch Patrigde dog or Drent in english. This breed was often used to hunt fowls. There are approximately 5,000 dogs of this breed registered with breedclubs in the Netherlands.
