Adelle DeWitt is the boss of the Actives in the Dollhouse and the employer of the staff. She is also the main contact for all Dollhouse clients, negotiating contracts with them. Her duties involve recruiting people to become Actives. She is very sophisticated and cold towards people. She is efficient, ruthless, protective and would die before showing anyone how lonely she is.
