As far an opposite as you can get within the same gender, Marinetta is just that for Pearl. At first Marinetta would drive Pearl mad; with her paint stained clothes, and the sloppy way she would eat lunch. Pearl could not help but stare, most of all she wanted to help this poor unorderly mess of a girl.
