Early in his life he bullies a deaf girl called Shoko, to the point of her having to move schools, Years later he has changed, he's not so boisterous. He is ashamed of how he treated Shoko and tries to make amends. I won't spoil anything else from the movie, because it's truely beautiful. And I urge anyone to see it for themselves.
