This was inspired by old sitcoms where you have your typical nuclear family and one occult kid that came from some other world or time period. You got your Mother and Father bond, the older brother who is fed up with the world and wants to be in a band, the younger sister who loves to get into mischief, and finally the out-of-this-world alien kid who just wants to learn human customs and become friends with everyone.
