Mike Newby came out as #gay around the time little Dorothy Ann was a toddler and he seperated from his ex-wife Evelyn (née Rosenstein) who married a math teacher Clay Coleman. Clay was super awesome, and helped Mike get out into the dating scene. They are a fantastic support system to eachother, and have no ill will towards one another.
