This is the BFG, and the sprite he protects in #Murkland. She is the last of her kind, as sprites have been hunted for many generations before, but even more so post apocolypse for their cheerful, and innocent magic. The BFG found Darling Sprite just as her light was growing dim, and nurtured her back to her glowing simself.
