Born and raised in Sulani, Lani is proud of her heritage. However, she is very upset at how her island is changing. She feels like the barrage of newcomers from the mainland is drowning out the native culture. She hopes "The Real World: Sulani" will give her a platform to advocate for the Sulani people.
