The Miniature Pinscher came from Germany. Fom debated lineage, the AKC suggests it came from mixing Dachshunds and Greyhounds, and some suggest small terriers were also mixed in to create the breed. They were used to hunt rats and now usually kept as pets and show dogs. The breed is distinct and not a mini Doberman. They tend to be feisty, fearless, stubborn, and loyal to their owner.
