Duane grew up in the impoverished area of San Myshuno as the oldest of 8 children, of whom he felt like he constantly had to look after. Determined to rise above his circumstance he made top grades and then took sponsored job in another country teaching language. He feels that instead of getting married and having children teaching is the best way for him to help usher in the next generation. He only wishes his mom would stop asking for grandbabies.
