(1941) Rick and Mitch have been friends for 5 years. They met in 1936, opening night of Mitch's club "The Green Olive", when Rick was a beat officer. A belligerant patron, who refused to pay his tab, demanding another drink from the bartender, pulled a knife out on Mitch when he tried to escort him out of his club. Mitch grabbed the nearest thing, a champange bottle, and broke it over the man's face. Rick was the 1st officer on the scene. The two men became fast friends afterwards. #Live6wire
