Ku'u has ancient roots in the island of Sulani. His family can be traced back many generations. He has a deep passion for his home & thier culture of ohana. He is a strong advocate for remembering & practicing the long-held traditions of their culture. His mother named him Ku'u Pu'uwai - my heartbeat because, like her, she wanted him to always be in touch with the heartbeat of their ohana & the island.
