As a young girl Bonnie spent hours reading books about mermaids. She read them so much that whenever she stood in the sand and looked out at the sea she pictured beautiful mermaids dipping in and out of the water. It has been her dream ever since to be a mermaid, but she knows it will never happen - because mermaids aren't real, are they?
