A breed I have admired and a favorite since childhood, the Irish Setter. Irish hunters in the 1800s created "red setters" now known as the Irish Setter as a high energy, working dog to cover a large amount of land quickly. They tend to be docile toward people despite their higher energy levels, and relatively easy to train which makes them good for a variety of jobs including but not limited to hunting, retrieving, service dog work, and dog sports. #Irish #setter #IrishSetter #large #dog #red
