Asling has a rare condition that causes her hair and skin to lose almost all pigmintation, and causes her hair to fall out and be patchy, leading her to shave it off. In addition to that she had an organ problem when she was just 3 years old, so she had to get a life saving surgery. Thankfully she made it but she was left with a scar along the left side of her back. She was always embarassed about it, and at age 20 she got multiple stars tatooed along the scar.
