Origin Story: Jamal Jackson, grad student, was experimenting on quantum physics when he was attacked by vampire Griffin Mead. Smelling death the Grim Reaper was hovering above the grisly attack, then there was a quantum explosion, tearing their souls apart. Sixam scientist sent immediate help, but couldn't quite put them together again, so they impregnated Jamal with a baby.
