They're witches and when Aaron was a young adult he commited suicide and went to the underworld where he lived there until his family learned the spell to bring a person back to life. Aaron had fun in the underworld and made connections. Satan himself visits Aaron's church frequently in spirit form and Satan gave them a demon child to look after as well as 2 underworld animals.
