Mai and Ardeq have been on the run for days. Neither of their families could accept a merman prince dating a non-royal human. They ran through forests and climbed mountains. Now they are in a little village. Since Ardeq is tired, his legs sometimes grow some scales. They enter an abandoned house and fall asleep quickly.
