Fred and Jo met when they were children, when they were both Scouts. They started dating in their senior year of high school. Fred went to university, but Jo decided to start working. They were married shortly after Fred's graduation. Problems started when he turned out to be a workaholic. Alone at home with her two children, Jo was stagnant in her writing career.
