This family dynamic is loosely based on #GilmoreGirls. I've altered them so I feel free to not follow the show exactly. Rosalie and Irvin Highmore are rich socialites who had a daughter, Rose, who despite their best efforts ended up having a "teenage" pregnancy with Mike, a non-commital budding tech guru. Little Rosie is loved by all in the family and Rose is doing her best to raise her single-handedly.
