This is based on the fanfiction "In the Exclusion Zone" by TheStageManager on Archive of Our Own. It's a order 66 au where Rex and Kix are involved in the destruction of the Jedi Temple with Anakin. They manage to rescue Caleb Dume, Cal Kestis and baby Ahsoka Tano (who is a youngling in this au). They end up basically adopting the baby jedi.
