Clayton Abernathy aka Hawk comes from a rich family who could afford to get him into West Point. He graduated with top honors, became an officer, went on to receive Advanced Infantry Training and attend Air Defense Artillery School and Covert Ops School. He received most of his experience serving in a special forces unit as Forward Observer. That's why those under his command respect him.
