My cousin Mary Alma was my hero when I was growing up.Quite a bit older than me, she was already in college when I was 8. I thought she was so beautiful. She wore tight skirts, high heels, red lipstick & tons of Aqua Net. I would watch her put make up on with rapt attention. She was always kind to me in a time when few were.
