Joey is a foster kid who lost his parents in a tragic camping accident involving donuts and a large bear. Joey never sets foot in the woods and panics when he sees a donut shop. An incoming freshman, Joey is a bit nervous about the transition from jr high. Joey is ok with his foster family - and really looks up to Zak, his foster brother.
