Meet the Grande-Petit family! For #IndigenousPeoplesDay being just last Wednesday, I decided to release this lovely family who live in #BigSur, #California! Mrs. Grande and her mother Poppy's family are from the Essellen Tribe of Big Sur. Mr. Armel Petit, however, is Canadian - particularly from the Yellowknife tribe in the Northwest Territories. Their son, Akaitcho, is named after the Yellowknife chief - and since the name 'Akaitcho' translates to "Big-foot", he is named for his big feet - lol!
