May Jamileh Hashimoto, widely known as May J., is a J-Pop who debuted in 2006 with her mini-album "All My Girls". She was born to a Japanese father and Iranian mother, but believed she was American for part of her life, due to her mother's fear of discrimination in Japan. May J. can speak 4 languages, Japanese, English, Persian and Spanish.
