Carlson after the crash
On a trip to Sulani the Carlsons plane got trapped in a freak storm over Strangerville. Mingmei drowned in the river while attempting to force a door shut. Her actions saved her family but Thomas isn't coping with her death well. He's decided to raise his girls at the crash site and only wears his uniform even though he was discharged.
