Shane's party outfit and asperation are based on The Hot Daga, and his athletic outfit is based on Ryan saying that the only time he's seen Shane in some sort of athletic gear is when he was dressed as a cheerleader. That's the excuse I'm using, anyway. Ryan's party outfit was goint to be a hot dog, but instead I made the outfit something that gave me Ricky Goldswoth vibes.
