Oft mistaken as a "pit bull" breed, the American Bully is a UKC recognized breed. The creator stated his remorse of breeding them as primarily for aesthetics. The UKC accepts "bully correct" dogs that are not overly exaggerated. The standard size was created by mixing English Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bulldog, Olde English Bulldog, and Staffordshire Terrier lines.
