As a child Elias #brindleton craved #adventure so he ran off to sea. He became a dashing #sea #captain who explored the Orient & the South Pacific, but he is best known for defeating the #pirates terrorizing the coast. After the pirates were gone, he founded #brindletonbay & erected #lighthouses to keep #ships from the rocky shoals.
